Lapland Circle - Korouoma Canyon and Ranua Zoo
Korouoma is a million of years old fracture valley in the bedrock, situated 100km from Rovaniemi to the south. At the center of the valley, it forms a magnificent gorge that drops over 100 meters below its surrounding terrain. Korouoma is known for its magnificent frozen waterfalls that cover the tall cliffs in the winter. There are altogether 14 frozen waterfalls along the Korouoma hiking trail. Be amazed how the nature itself can make art, such a masterpiece in the middle of the wilderness.
After Korouoma we will visit Ranua wildlife park where you can meet the noble polar bears in Finland as well as 50 other animal species in an authentic environment.
During the visit we will enjoy the buffet lunch in the Zoo restaurant. We will visit also Fazer chocolate shop, a loved and genuine Finnish brand.
